Misty Days of Witchcraft

Hello lovelies! Halloween is this Friday! I must admit, I am beyond ecstatic. Lately, I've been dressing very Halloween-y. My inspiration this year has come from watching season three of American Horror Story, titled Coven. In this season, there is a particular witch named Misty Day played by the AMAZING Lily Rabe. Lily Rabe did an amazing job playing Sister Mary Eunice in season two's Asylum as well. Misty Day is a huge Stevie Nicks fan, and she spends the majority of her on-screen time twirling around in shawls, listening to Fleetwood Mac. In other words, she's perfect! Just take a look at first Stevie, and then Misty.

And now Misty!

They're both such lovely women, you can't help but love them! Because of them, lately I've been wearing a lot of floral print, shawls, and black lace. I also have this amazing skeleton hand hair clip from this Etsy if you'd like to check out some of their work. It's wonderful.
Alright, I didn't have much to say other than Halloween! So enjoy some SpoOoOoky pictures and this Spotify Halloween playlist! At the bottom are a list of Misty Day-inspired songs as well. Enjoy Halloween, lovelies!

Spookadelic

So I fucking LOVE October. It is my favorite month of the year. Everything is pumpkin flavored, you can still go apple-picking, it's John Lennon's birthday on the ninth, it's that perfect slightly-cold but not quite freezing weather, apple cider is available more popularly and, oh yeah- IT'S FUCKING HALLOWEEN! Halloween is the best holiday of the year and if you deny that then you're wrong.
I have had a love of vampires LONG before Twilight was even a thought. I love dressing up in fun costumes (last year I was David Bowie) and trick-or-treating for candy. All the dark colors- black, purple, and orange- they just make the holiday a thousand times better. The decorations are amazing; all the plastic spiders and bats and fake gravestones on people's lawns just make me love getting into the Halloween spirit. Over all, I just love Halloween.
This is from Rookie and I love it so therefore it shall be the cover photo.

Vintage skeletons are so cool.

You'll freak when you see it..
The Shining is the best movie I've ever seen and it's perfect for Halloween.
