Stuart Sutcliffe on Sgt. Pepper

This is one of John Lennon's many homes. Shortly after the 1967 photoshoot for the album cover of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, which included many famous cardboard cutouts, John took home the cardboard cut out of his best friend, Stuart Sutcliffe, who passed away in April of 1962. He was featured on the album cover on the far left, and can be seen in the bottom left corner of the window in John's home furthest to the left.

  1. Yes, it's a pretty sad story, that of Stu Sutcliff.
John Lennon had already proven his attachment to his memory 2 years before, in his song "In my life".
